Our Kerala headquarters was designed as both workplace and proving ground. Over 24 months, the site’s rooftop PV, battery buffer, and building energy management system have delivered measurable reductions in grid draw while maintaining comfort and uptime for engineering and operations teams.
Performance Against Design
First-year specific yield came within 3% of modeled P50 estimates. Year two improved further after albedo-enhancing roof treatments and string reconfiguration on partially shaded bays. System availability held above 99.4%, with most downtime attributable to planned maintenance rather than equipment failure.
Lessons for Client Deployments
The HQ project validated commissioning checklists, monsoon-season cleaning schedules, and remote diagnostics now standard in Lumion C&I deliveries. Transparent internal metrics—good and imperfect—keep our proposals grounded in operated reality rather than brochure curves.
